Me and Dirt

Would you believe that I'm about to open my second bale of potting soil soon. I guess one could easily say that i've over done it with the amount of tomatoes I've seeded. But here's the thing. It's an experimenting year as I call it. I ordered an obscene amount of heirloom tomato seeds.

I'm not sure why these fascinate me so much but I think it has to do with that the seeds have a history to them. Perhaps its similar to the reason why I collected coins for so long. Knowing that there is a past .... Excites me!

Ill try to post one of these days a list of exactly what ive planted.

Cory and Roscoe

It rained all day on Sunday. I meant to post these pictures then, but figure better late than never. I know you're probably thinking this photo is fixed... Like this never happens, but every time Cory goes up for wood, this is the way Roscoe likes to ride in style.

Cory's tomato babies

Here is a picture of Cory's tomato seedlings. He's been discourage lately because of of the 8 seeds he planted, only 2 have sprouted up.  I think tonight will be another seed planting evening.  He's going to try a few more varieties.  Perhaps this time, he won't plant them so deep! :)
